Cultural Competence

As a culturally competent clinician, I have taken curricula specifically geared towards serving BIPOC communities, such as: counseling African American clients, integrating poverty and social econominc status in counseling, and integrating religion and spirituality in counseling.

Evidence-Based

Having undergone training at the only CACREP accredited program in the St. Louis Metropolitan area at the time,

I am committed to theoretical orientations that have proven both valid and reliable.

Relational Therapy

As a Relational-Cultural Therapist I find that the therapeutic alliance or relationship is paramount, for it is the vehicle through which positive change occurs.

Towards that end, I work tirelessly to build, maintain, and protect the relationship between client and clinician.
