Cultural Competence

As a culturally competent clinician, I have taken curricula specifically geared towards serving BIPOC communities such as counseling African American clients, integrating poverty and social econominc status in counseling, and integrating religion and spirituality in counseling.

Evidence-Based

Having undergone training at the only CACREP accredited program in the St. Louis Metropolitan area at the time,

I am committed to theoretical orientations that have proven both valid and reliable.

Relational Therapy

As a Relational-Cultural Therapist I find that the therapeutic alliance or relationship is paramount, for it is the vehicle through which positive change occurs.

Towards that end, I work tirelessly to build, maintain, and protect the relationship between client and clinician.
