About Us
About the Institute
The Institute of Intrapersonal Development was born much like most, out of necessity, for I noticed so many in search of connection, acceptance, and validation.
Delving deeper, I discovered that those who so desperately yearned for said constructs had yet to find them within. It appeared as though there was an inherent lack of self value. Thus, I felt a sense of responsibility to shed light on the way in which the self is developed, and the Institute was born.
The Institute of Intrapersonal Development's mission is as follows:
-
Provide psychoeducation surrounding the self and how it is formed
-
Introduce and examine the way in which one’s Internal Working Model
is developed -
Introduce and explain Bowlby & Ainsworth’s attachment styles
-
Illuminate the interplay between attachment styles and relational patterns
Providing HIPAA Compliant Telehealth Services

Jerisha LaCrae, M. Ed., LPC, LPCC, NCC
Hello, by way of introduction I'm Jerisha LaCrae. I am a psychotherapist who was educated at the CACREP accredited community counseling program housed at the University of Missouri. I am both a Licensed Professional Counselor and an approved clinical supervisor in the state of Missouri. I am also a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California, and hold a board-certification from the National Board for Certified Counselors. I earned a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's degree in community counseling. I have a wealth of credentials, however I most value my lived experiences for they allow me to relate to people from the very environments from which I came. I serve as an example of what can be accomplished despite the limited expectations of society, which aids in connecting with clients on an authentic level.
